Cultivating Future Agricultural Leaders
The LaSalle County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD is proud to nurture the next generation of agricultural leaders through the Mark Krenz Memorial Scholarship Program. This scholarship supports students pursuing careers in agriculture, environmental science, or natural resource management.

Award of $2,000 is paid directly to the college
Eligibility Requirements

High school senior graduating this spring or college Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior enrolled in agricultural.

Must be a LaSalle County resident.

Submit a completed application, current transcript, and three letters or recommendation (excluding relatives)

We are proud to award $500 scholarships to the winners of the Section VII Animal Judging, Land Judging, Ag Mechanics, and Agronomy contests. These scholarships will be distributed upon the winners' high school graduation and successful completion of their first semester at a university, junior college, or technical school.

Additionally, the George McKibben Scholarship, established by the Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation District, is available for outstanding agriculture pursuing their education at any Illinois state college, recognizing academic excellence and to soil and water conservation. http://www.aiswcd.org
